David Gwynn was born December 4, 1952 in San Francisco. At ten he was playing guitar instrumentals with his first band. A little later David was going out to see the Butterfield Blues Band, unique west coast groups such as Spirit, and great guitarists such as Roy Buchanan. Living in Madrid since 1984, his music is a mixture of deep blues feeling and cultivated psychedelic soul.
